Otani Ware is a prestigious traditional craft from Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture, with over 200 years of rich history. This piece utilizes the unique "Kogane-yaki" technique, where the natural iron content in the clay is drawn to the surface by controlled flames during reduction firing. This process produces a captivating, metallic, smoked metallic luster that shifts elegantly under light.
