The rim is elegantly formed into a lobed shape (rinka) and decorated with delicate arabesque patterns, contrasting with the grand scene in the center. The dynamic brushwork and vibrant blue glaze create a sense of scale and dignity across the expansive surface. The reverse side is equally well-decorated with a subtle scrolling floral pattern along the rim, reflecting the quality of its design. Ideal as a statement piece for dining or as a sophisticated display platter. The base shows firing marks (me-ato) consistent with its age.
