Known for his "Nakashima Celadon," his work is celebrated globally for its profound depth and ethereal beauty. 【About the Artist: Hiroshi Nakashima】 Born in 1941 in Takeo, Saga. He dedicated his life to the art of celadon, reviving ancient techniques while creating a unique contemporary style. In 2007, he was officially recognized by the Japanese government as a Living National Treasure (Preserver of Important Intangible Cultural Property) for his mastery of Celadon. 【Condition & Notes】 • This is a pre-owned vintage item in excellent condition. • The fine lines on the surface (crackle glaze) are an intentional artistic feature of celadon and are not cracks or damage. • As these are handmade, slight variations in color and shape add to the unique character of each piece.
