This is an extraordinary "Hai-koku-to" (Ash-Black Ceramic) vase created by the renowned Japanese ceramic artist Katsuyuki Kohsaka. This piece dates back to the late 1980s, a period when the artist received numerous prestigious accolades in the Japanese contemporary art scene.

The work is characterized by its sophisticated geometric composition and unique linen-fold texture. Its minimalist, architectural silhouette makes it a versatile statement piece, perfect for both traditional Japanese tea rooms and modern, industrial, or minimalist interiors.
