An authentic Japanese teacup (Yunomi) crafted by Kwanichi Yano, the 4th generation master of the historic Yano Toen kiln in Tokushima, Japan. Comes with its original signed wooden box (Tomobako).
This piece features expressive, hand-drawn vertical stripes in blue and brown over a warm, earthy glaze characteristic of traditional Otani ware. With its organic texture and comfortable feel in hand, this teacup brings a refined yet rustic touch to your daily tea ritual.
【About Otani Ware & Yano Toen】
Originating in the late 18th century (Edo period), Otani ware is celebrated as a key folk craft of Tokushima (Awa region). Yano Toen preserves these centuries-old techniques while infusing modern design sensibilities into their ceramics.
