A refined set of five Gyokuro/Sencha teacups crafted by Takahashi Dohachi, one of Kyoto’s most distinguished historic Kyo Ware (Kiyomizu Ware) ceramic lineages.
Each cup is decorated with hand-painted blue and white "壽" (Longevity) auspicious characters, complemented by a delicate iron-brown rim (Kusabi) that frames the piece beautifully. Perfect for enjoying high-grade green tea such as Gyokuro or Sencha.
About the Artist: Takahashi Dohachi
Takahashi Dohachi is a renowned master line of Kyoto pottery established in the late Edo period. Highly celebrated for producing exquisite Sencha utensils and tea ceremony wares, the Dohachi lineage is acclaimed for its sophisticated forms and delicate brushwork.
