落ち着いた光沢と深みのある黒が美しい、天目釉の盃。
岐阜県土岐市の陶芸家・加藤仁による作品で、滑らかなフォルムと焼き締めの質感が、静かな存在感を放っています。
掌に収まる小さな器ながら、釉の奥に光が宿るような美しさがあり、観賞用としてもおすすめです。

【略歴】
大正15年生。昭和21年、陶磁デザイナー日根野作三氏に師事。
その後、佐那貝陶磁器研究所・三重県窯業試験場・小谷陶磁器研究所・土岐市陶磁器試験場などで研究。
昭和36年より陶房生活に入る。日展3回出品、現代日本陶芸展3回出品、日独交換展出品。
昭和37年、多治見税務署管内にて工芸作家非課税の認定を受ける。
土岐市無形文化財保持者。

English Description
A refined Temmoku sake cup by Hitoshi Kato, known for his deep, lustrous glazes and elegant craftsmanship.
The piece exudes quiet strength with its rich black hue and subtly curved form. The surface has a soft sheen that reflects light gently, revealing depth and warmth beneath the glaze.
A fine example of contemporary Japanese ceramic artistry with traditional roots.

Artist Biography:
Born in 1926. Studied under ceramic designer Sakuzo Hineno in 1946.
Conducted research at Sanagai Ceramic Institute, Mie Prefectural Ceramic Laboratory, and Toki Ceramic Research Center.
Began his independent ceramic career in 1961. Exhibited three times at the Nitten (Japan Fine Arts Exhibition), three times at the Contemporary Japanese Ceramic Exhibition, and participated in the Japan-Germany Exchange Exhibition.
Recognized as a Living Cultural Property of Toki City.
