Description (English)
A refined mizusashi (fresh water jar) by Kuniyoshi Hayashi of the Hanayō kiln.
The piece features delicately hand-painted floral motifs in subtle overglaze enamels (tōsai), harmoniously arranged on a pure white porcelain body. The lid is decorated with a graceful geometric design, giving the whole piece a serene and balanced presence.
Kuniyoshi Hayashi is known for creating works that blend the profound beauty of classical ceramics with a modern sensibility. This mizusashi reflects both his refined craftsmanship and deep respect for traditional Japanese aesthetics.
Comes with the original signed wooden tomobako and artist’s leaflet. Perfect as a tea utensil or as a decorative display piece.
